Alpha Whale Watch is the brainchild of a whale watch captain with 30 years experience.  When whale watching became more about corporate interests than fun for his previous employers, he decided to start running his own whale watches.

That’s where Alpha Whale Watch comes in. The business is new this year, but the people involved are not. Our crew ran a very popular whale watch last year, and have over 25 years experience running whale watches. We know the local waters like the back of our hands, and we even know most of the whales by name!

At Alpha Whale Watch, we are not like the other whale watch companies. We firmly believe that whale watching should be an enjoyable experience - for us as well as you! Our excursions are not a biology lecture in a floating elementary school - they’re fun, interesting, and an experience in themselves!  We genuinely care about you and want to give you the best possible  experience.
